Get me on IMDB

What better way to kill time when there's a thunderstorm raging outside than to write my first entry in this blog? After being a relatively vocal advocate of the whole concept, I'm finally writing my own contribution to the great conversation in the sky. So let's take this landmark post to mark up a few (un)usual and non career related things I would like to achieve over the next year - that way I can refer back to this post and see if they ever got done. In no particular order, here they are:

1. Learn Spanish
2. Have a story published in GQ
3. Take up falconry as a hobby (any hints welcome)
4. Run 10km in less than 45 minutes
5. Get on IMDB

This isn't me, I'd have turned the role down, dying in bed isn't my thing. But now I feel I should watch my namesake's breakthrough appearance in Zombies of Mora Tau.

Plot Summary: Zombiefied sailors guard the treasure of a ship they went down with 60 years earlier. A group of sailors scoff at the legend, and decide to retrieve the diamonds from the ocean floor only to discover the hard way that there is some truth to legends.

To get on IMDB, all I have to do is play some bit-part in a movie... any movie, and I can get a new Lewis Webb (II) entry on IMDB. Everyone who has ever had anything to do with a movie is on there, even Joe Montana is on there, and he's not exactly an actor. So that's the tough one, but I think a little help, a little spin and may be Jim'll fix it for me - or something like that.
